We have developed a solution for precision hoeing of stone-rich morainic soils. With the camera based steering of an existing Robocrop hoeing implement, and a self-developed stone release mechanism, the system now handles inter-row weed-hoeing at 12.5 cm sowing row spacing also under stony conditions. In the process, we have also developed a method for testing the accuracy of tractor and implement auto-steering under practical field conditions.
