Tractor – better utilization of the key machine in agriculture’

The tractor will retain an important role in agriculture in the future as well. There is great potential for more efficient use which can contribute to reduced machine costs, reduced diesel consumption and reduced environmental impact in the form of CO2 emissions and soil compaction.
During the event, we will therefore e.g. into: tyres, air pressure and diesel consumption, weight transfer and traction requirements, machine costs, support systems for better planning and more precise execution of various work operations, automation and robotisation, new technologies and many more.
Technology Day, a day for those interested in agriculture and precision technology in the use of tractors. Here there will be inspiring subject papers, exhibitions and demonstrations from a number of Norwegian players. The day will be a unique opportunity to see the diversity that exists within this area, some indicators of what is to come, and a great opportunity to meet other people interested in technology.
The event is a collaboration between the department for grain and seed crops and the Center for Precision Agriculture at Apelsvoll. The day is organized with the support of the State Administrator of the Interior.
